BE CRAFTY MINNEAPOLIS with Maggie Holmes

I can’t believe a week has already passed since our spring BE CRAFTY workshop. It was such a treat to have Maggie Holmes join us here in Minneapolis.  I have been trying to get Maggie to come join us at the studio for awhile now. With a little convincing she agreed. I am so glad she did.

PHOTOGRAPHY BY: ABBY ANFINSON and STEPHANIE BRYAN

Our theme was vintage books, inspired by Maggie’s paper line with Crate Paper ; OPEN BOOK. We gathered vintage books to decorate the treat table and around the supply book shelf.  We kept things simple using balloons and honeycomb balls from Shop Sweet Lulu to add a few pops of color.

The amazing Melissa from The Faux Martha spoiled us with her amazing handmade confetti sugar cookies. The cookies were stacked high on a cake stand which was placed on the vintage dresser .  Pink lemonade was served along side with pink striped straws.

katiesuppliesI think it’s safe to say we all stood and drooled over all the pretty Behr paint. Lots of photos were taken of the eye candy colors.
