A fancy fridge makeover

 

A few months ago my sweet friend Jessica and I got together at the studio to give our studio a clean + de-clutter. We found a gold can of spray paint and decided to give our studio fridge a makeover.

I had totally forgot we had taken photos, and recently found them on my phone. They aren’t anything fancy, but I thought I would share.  This day with Jessica brings back so many memories being in college and doing crazy things to decorate our dorm room.

Always finding something to D.I.Y.

Our fridge in the studio was a basic white fridge.

Using a metallic spray paint we began to spray the fridge making sure we sprayed back and forth to create a even coat.

 

Since we wanted the entire fridge to be gold, we did not tape.  Metallic spray paint dries a little faster then colored . This project took us under 2 hours from start to finish.

I’m glad Jessica trusted  my crazy idea.  Our fridge now has a story behind it , and many  laughs.
