A house filled with love

It all started off with a need for a quick birthday present. I had been putting off going to the store to get a sweet little girl her present for her birthday. I remember walking through all the isles and could not find one thing that stood out or something she didn’t already have.

My only other option was to go home and make something.

With left over scrap fabric, and a old pillow stuffing I had made a cute little house pillow. That house pillow still sits on the end of her bed, and every-time I see it my heart smiles. Gifting shouldn’t be about how much money we spend on someone, or how big the present is. It should be about the thought and love that went into that gift. And from there on, I started making house pillows for all the little girls birthdays and thank-you gifts.

So many of you instagram friends have been asking me to sell these houses. At first I was pretty firm on not going to do it. It was my little handmade gift that I wanted to keep special. The more and more I thought about it and the more people kept asking I finally decided to put a few house pillows in my shop.

Currently there are 12 pillows for sale and more then anything I hope they are a blessing to the receiver.
