A present for Miss Lilly

I am a little behind in posting this sweet DIY package, but still wanted to share this little gift I gave to little Miss Lilly for her 1st Birthday.  Because most 1 year olds still can’t unwrap gifts, I wanted to make something cute for her mom to open.
The kraft box was a extra box inside our new Brita water jug. ( there were 4 empty kraft boxes inside, what a waste … really.  But don’t get me wrong, I won’t complain at a free plain kraft box). Once I packaged the inside ( 2 sweet baby gap dresses) I wrapped the outer with washi tape.
I didn’t buy a card, and honestly for kids gifts, I usually don’t give cards. Instead I added a quick flag tag  that I designed in illustrator and printed out on my home computer.  After I cut out the flag, I used a kabob skewer and attached the two with glue. Simple and quick.
One of my favorite things to add to gifts for kids are a little extra toy on top. Just adds a little sweetness, and way better then a bow!!!  Add a little lace and your done.
