Another year

I have gone back and forth debating whether or not post this. I don’t want this post to been seen as an applause.  I hope this post can be an inspiration as a way to bless someone special in your life. And a way to encourage random acts of kindness.
Last year I had the most amazing birthday celebration. When I’m 90,  I can imagine this will be one of the stories that I will repeat and tell you over and over again. As this years birthday approached I was inspired to keep giving instead of receiving. So again, this year I decided to give on my birthday rather then receive.
As I began thinking about what I wanted to do this year,  I was inspired once again by pretty paper.  As I gathered supplies I currently had, I began cutting scraps of paper into mini bunting flags. Once the banners were sewn I wrapped them around a mini tag and finished with a bow.
Each tag was a little different, but still had the same concept.
Inside I glued a clear glassine envelope which held the bunting banner. I also included a couple Starbucks gift cards for a few friends who also celebrated their birthday in October.
As I send these little happy mail cards into the big world I hope they brighten a day that may be cloudy or a day that is need of a extra cup of coffee. Most of all I hope they are opened and felt a little extra loved.
