BE CRAFTY ARIZONA + part one

I can’t believe a week ago Maggie and I were packing up supplies, adding goodies to the wag boxes and heading to the venue The DenMar Estate to set up for the  BE CRAFTY ARIZONA workshop.

WEB-1597The venue was absolutely amazing, filled with the most lovely vintage goodies. The owners were so fun to work with and were such a help the day of the event. I just love them, and can’t wait to come back again soon.  If  you are in the Mesa, Arizona area, I highly recommend taking a visit.

It was so fun decorating inside, adding all of our decorations and personal touches to each little corner.  These shop sweet lulu  balloons added the perfect party feel to the event.

WEB-1260 2We couldn’t have a workshop without some yummy treats.  They are always a highlight at each workshop. Inspired Sugar a local Arizona baker provided the most yummiest cupcakes for us all to enjoy. And of course we had to have fancy straws to drink our drinks with!!

treatsMaggie and I had so much fun making these huge dream catchers. They hung perfectly above the vintage couch which turned into a fun back drop for group photos .

WEB-1394I can’t even begin to tell you how excited I was that  Waffle Love  was attending the workshop. I have had my eye on these waffles ever since I first visited  Arizona. I had never had the opportunity to be near their truck during my quick visits so when I found out they were able to come to our workshop I was beyond excited!!!

WEB-1515Friends, these waffles were all I could think about and if you see their truck I highly suggest you put your breaks on and try one for your self. I tried the nutella, strawberries and whip cream. My mouth is watering thinking about them. Now if I could only convince them to drive their truck and come visit me here in Minnesota……

WEB-1525A big thanks to the amazing  RED POPPY PHOTO for coming and capturing our day with her camera. She is one of the sweetest photographers I have worked with and captured every little detail of the workshop.  I can’t wait to share more of her amazing photo’s from the workshop next week!!
