I am so excited to finally share with you photos from our latest Be Crafty workshop that I hosted with my friend Ashley and her oldest daughter in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. This is our second workshop hosting together welcoming Mother’s and Daughter’s for a special Mother and Daughter Be Crafty workshop.

The day turned out to be a beautiful fall day full of sunshine. The event took place at On The Lawn at The Restore House in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. We took full advantage of all the open spaces to decorate with balloons and honeycomb balls from Shop Sweet LuLu. A gold letter balloon banner from North Star balloons hung over the arch as the girls walked towards the main workshop area where we would be crafting.
We welcomed over 100 Mother and Daughter’s with a morning and afternoon session. Seeing all the Mother’s who arranged this special day to spend with their daughters was truly special.
The day was filled with lots of excited little voices and smiles all around.
We started the workshop with a quick introduction and then jumped right into teaching the three projects the Mother’s and Daughter’s were going to make.
Ashley started off by teaching the circle weaving project. Everyone got to choose from a wide variety of yarn to create their very own weave masterpiece.
Ashely’s oldest taught everyone how to make buttons with our ButtonMaker. She did such a great job and was a master button maker by the end of the day. I think I will be handing Be Crafty over to her when I retire.
Buttonmakers are offering everyone a 10% discount for all button makers until January 1st with coupon code: becrafty
A big thanks to Lesley for designing our button graphics . The girls had such a hard time choosing just three.
Ashley and I talked Lesley into making a few extra buttons for all of you too. You can purchase them from her etsy shop . Wouldn’t they make the cutest little gift or stocking stuffer.
I think it’s safe to say the girls could have made buttons all day long.
I just loved watching all the girls create with their mothers and having the freedom to make their projects however they envisioned. Deco Art sent us the prettiest paint colors.
Everyones sweet tooths were filled with Laurannae Cupcakes beautiful and yummy mini cupcakes.
During the last 30 minutes of the workshop we had the honor of hosting a giveaway thanks to our amazing sponsors who sent items from their shops . We are so lucky to work with so many awesome makers that tomorrow Ashely and I will dedicating a full post all about them.
Before we said our goodbyes we handed out swag bags to everyone. Each bag was filled with many awesome items that our sponsors provided. Stay tuned tomorrow as we will share all the goodies that were inside and give you a chance to win one too!!
I feel so lucky to be able to host this workshop with Ashley . It was a day full of crafting and creating and getting to be around friends. The perfect kind of day.
I hope Be Crafty will always bring such big smiles and laughter to our attendees’s faces. A big thanks to Jaime for allowing us to bring BE CRAFTY On The Lawn and provide a special day for Mother’s and Daughters.
I was told if you host an event twice in Broken Arrow it is now concidered a tradition…
