Fall workshop wrap-up

Yesterday was the perfect day for a fall workshop. It was a cold and raining day. The kinda of day where you just want to stay inside and craft.  And that we did.
I always get a little nervous before workshops. Maybe its the nerves of making sure everything has been brought to the studio, like all the foot pedals for the sewing machines, or making sure pins for sewing have been brought      ( yes, I forgot the pins !!!  Do you use pins when you sew??? – I don’t). I  am not a perfect crafter,  I don’t always follow the directions fully and usually end up creating it my own way.  I do however  want to teach the best I can.
Jessica and I were super excited after a long summer break to finally be back in the studio crafting and sharing our love of handmade with our Be Crafty guests.
It was such a fun afternoon with these girls. Everyone completed and learned how to create a ruffle + sew a envelope pillow, stamp a fall banner on burlap and create a simple coffee cup sleeve out of felt. All perfect crafts to use during the fall season.
And a big thank-you to our amazing sponsors Lesley of Recipe For Crazy for giving one of her amazing chalk prints and Cole of Hand Made Colectibles  for sending us a bouquet of her lovely handmade felt flowers.  You girls are amazing, and I am so honored to have you apart of the workshop!!!!
If you are interested in joining us for a BE CRAFTY  we will hosting our Christmas workshop on Nov. 17th and will be sharing more info with you soon.
