It’s not everyday you get a email from Hazel and Ruby asking you to make your house pillow into a kit for Jo Ann Fabrics. It has been so fun seeing my handmade pattern get turned into a kit for everyone to make .
As soon as I heard the kits were in stores I had to go see them in person. It’s so crazy to see something I created packaged in a store, not to mention in Jo Ann fabrics. There is a total of 25 kits all created by handmade artists. Crafternoon is created to try a new D.I. Y, learn a new craft and make it in a afternoon. Hazel and Ruby created a cute video showing off all the kits, makes me want to call all my friends for a craft afternoon.
And the best part, the kits come with all the supplies except for the inside stuffing. The house pillow is super easy to make, especially since all the pieces are all cut out for you. I even made a little video to help you along the way.
Today the crafternoon makers are joining together for a blog hop showing off all the projects in the Crafternoon line. I am so excited to try Frenchie’s fancy shoe clips.
Stay tuned in the upcoming week for more fun posts showing off the house pillows. I sent a couple of the kits to a few crafty friends and I can’t wait to see how they used the kits. I will be sharing their posts here along with a fun GIVEAWAY next week.
