I can never walk out of the hardware store without grabbing a handful of sample color paint cards. I love standing in front of that big rainbow wall putting together different color combinations. I have a pantone book of all the colors but nothing beats standing in the hardware store dreaming up new projects and putting your favorite colors together.
I love buying sample containers for DIY projects. For under $3.00 ( this week there was a sale for .99 ) you can never have to many colors.
This weekend I am throwing my mom a retirement party. I picked up a few new paint sample containers yesterday to use for a few DIY decorations I am making. Remember that one time I painted a bunch of paper plates !!! This time I am painting a table runner and a few other things. I will try and take some photos to share with you .

laurie magpie ethel - I just left the paint store yesterday with a handful of paint swatches. I wish our sample cans would hit .99 cents. They are always $5….I will have to stalk paint sample prices now! 🙂
