Painting Chairs

Last night, on a whim I stopped into the thrift store for a quick look. And by quick, I mean I ran right to the furniture area.  Of course there was two of the cutest chairs just sitting there waiting to be taken home for a makeover. I grabbed them, dragged them to the checkout and home we went.

I always love a good before and after photo. Sometimes I forget to take a before, so while I waited in line I took a quick phone photo . I might have texted a few friends, teasing them with my new finds.

A quick tip:  I LOVE these new mini paint brushes at ikea. They work great for small area’s like spindels and hard to reach area’s that a normal big brush can’t get.  The great part is they are cheap. For under $2 you get a variety pack so you can share with your kids too .

If you are wanting to start painting furniture, I challenge you to start with chairs. They are easy to paint, and don’t take long.

Michelle-Marie - WOW what a change. It’s nice to see what a little paint can do. I feel so inspired, maybe i should visit my thrift store 😀
