Paper Fans and a TV

It has been a couple busy weeks around here. I am  getting ready for a craft show  this weekend in Fargo, ND. If your in the area, come say hello!!! You can find more on the show and location here.

During the show I will selling some BE CRAFTY goodies from the shop + hosting a free mini workshop making paper fans.

I can’t tell you how much I am enjoying the new TV set in our main area. The storage space has been a huge blessing. I don’t have a fancy craft room, or any special room that I work in. Most days my kitchen table is covered in paper and my desk has been taken over by ruffled crepe paper and every other craft I have pulled out.

I have been trying to decided what I wanted to put in that big blank space behind the TV. I had thought of printing some Instagram photos, creating a collage of prints.  I could’t really decided and honestly wasn’t at the point where I wanted to spend money on something until I really loved it.

After folding over 50 paper fans for a photo booth back drop for the craft fest, I decided to keep a few for myself.

Problem has been solved. $5 later I  have paper fans behind my tv. Yes, my house might look like a party store but I love it.

Jillian - Can you please do a tutorial where you explain how you make these fans and have such a “finished” look? I always have to glue a circle medallion over the center to hid where the fan joins in the middle.ReplyCancel
