Summer Travels - DIY luggage Tag

This summer has been full of traveling and road-trips . To help prevent any lost luggage during my travels I made a few cute and easy DIY luggage tags using Maggie Holmes BLOOM collection paper. So easy you could make one too !!!

luggagetag1At the top of one of the bloom collection 12×12 paper was a cute pink blank form design that was perfect to use for a luggage tag. Using my scissors I cut the design out from out from the 12×12 paper.

Using my typewriter, I type in the information and filled in the form.  If you don’t have a typewriter you can always use a black pen.

Once I had all my information typed in the form I flipped the paper over to create a front side. Using flowers and embellishments I layered together and created a “if lost deliver to ” design.

Next, I pulled out my laminator and sealed my tag giving it extra protection and durability .

I love using these gold glittered circles for hole covers. Just place the stickers where you want your hole to be, use a hole bunch and create your hole. Super easy and I love how it adds a little sparkle to the tag.  iflost

Once my gold glittered holes were punches I grabbed a ribbon to attach to my suitcase. I always use bright colors making it easy to spot when at the airport baggage claim.

After traveling all summer my tag is still in tack and I love how it adds a little cuteness to my suitcase.
