Be Crafty Spring in Minneapolis

On Saturday afternoon the sun filled the studio as we welcomed new friends for a day of crafting.  It didn’t take long for connections to be made and laughter soon filled the room.

Sweet treats are always near by.  Pink doily cups from shop sweet lulu  were filled with kettle corn and chocolate chip cookies stacked the plate. Jessica made these cute mini fabric flags to help remember who’s cup was who’s.

We spent the afternoon creating three projects. Everyone went home with a jar of  homemade laundry soap decorated with ribbons and a paper dress. We tackled the sewing machines and learned how to make a patchwork hot pad and made a big color happy mess painting bamboo cooking spoons.

The afternoons always goes by way to fast, I  am  thankful for Instagram and the #becraftyworkshop hashtag. Photos above are from @hadempsey and @shopsweetlulu .

We always feel so loved when our amazing sponsors send us with goodies from their handmade shops. A big thanks to  Katy Girl Designs, White house Boutique, kdaviscreates, and Earth Cookie Creations . Check out these awesome shops, and support handmade!!!!

What a fun day we had. I am always so sad when the day is over. A big thanks to Katherine Louise Harris Photography + Design for sending us photos from the day!!!

We will be announcing the next dates for  Be Crafty  later this week.
