There are few things that inspire us more than planning pretty parties, hunting for lovely new and re-purposed craft supplies, and  working on new projects.

In December of 2011, Amanda and Jessica  joined forces to host a handmade gift-making party for our friends in Jessica’s home. We LOVED every minute and quickly began making plans for our next event, and the next one after that.  Soon Be Crafty workshops transformed into a way to continually  pour  love for handmade into the community around us.

By 2013 the dream of Be Crafty had moved into a beautiful art studio in NE Minneapolis where local women could come and create with us on a regular basis.

Since then, the Be Crafty movement has become so much more.

Amanda, the devoted dreamer, now travels to share Be Crafty workshops, meeting and being inspired by creative women like you.

When not on her way to the next Be Crafty’s  destination, you can find her back home in Minnesota, creating fabulous new eye candy to share here at her blogging post, while surrounded by her 2 dogs who are no doubt covered in glitter and hot glue strands. Any projects involving paint and pretty paper make her heart beat a little faster.  She loves to send random pretty packages to her friends to brighten their day, along with random act of kindness projects.
