tickets … get your tickets here.

It all started off with finding one pink .50 roll of vintage tickets at the thrift store. Cluttered in with all the grab bag goodies I grabbed the bag and  continued to walk down the isle. A few steps in  and happened to stumble across another roll. This time a faded vintage orange colored. Each were in a plastic bag mixed in with a variety of items … you k now those hotel soaps that people feel the need to take home and then donate to the thrift store….

For $1.50 I knew I had to take them home with me, and now I have started a collection, and another item/ treasure I feel the need to look for when thrifting  .

Yesterday, I posted this photo that I took with my iPhone on instagram.  A few people asked what would you do with vintage tickets. There are so many fun and unique ways to use them.  I love how Maggie Holmes uses them in her pocket scrapbook layout  pages. They can also be used as gift wrapping and even made into a photo booth back drop.

There are so many fun ideas.  If your looking to get your hands on a roll of tickets and don’t want to hunt at the thrift store you can get some here or at your local party store.

Maybe I need to host a carnival inspired workshop …….
